Hi everyone,

I have been looking at this course for awhile but I know myself, i find it tough to be motivated on my own without a teacher instructing. I am concerned about losing focus by not being in a classroom or attending daily classes which happens in most training courses. I wanted to do an intensive course (4 weeks away). Technically I can manage this but the cost is too much for me.

Any suggestions or tips on how to stay motivated by doing this course?

Thank you!
Lisa

I can relate. I got the Level 1 course at the tail end of March, thinking i'd dive in during the summer--but life got busy (moved, married, and am blending a family) as it always does. Picked it up in earnest again a few weeks ago and am now nearing the end of my Written Exam. I am experiencing a lot of uncertainty, though. I'm worried about whether my responses have hit the mark exactly. Too, as i'll be preparing my sample Yoga exercise program soon, i'm wondering how similar this should be to the one I eventually do for the Practical Exam video? I'm thinking it's quite possible that, given another month or so and wrapping up all my reading and video watching, I may totally change some of the routine!

Any feedback is much appreciated!

Kyhiera - of course you feel unsure. We've all been in your place. And your plate is getting full with all the changes in family and marriage. Send Paul an Email with a sample of your written exam and lesson plan. Let him know where you are. Ask him if you've got it right. The man is down to earth approachable. With holidays right down the road you need some honest feed back.

Perdy - Thanks so much for suggestion. I'll do just that after I wrap it up--and hopefully BEFORE the holidays hit! Thanks so much!
