Greetings and Salutations:
There are many advantages for existing yoga teachers who are considering training by distance learning or on the internet. One being: My teaching time doesn't allow for me to close the studio up for a week or a month at a time. Ask any yoga instructor if they would like to take a yoga vacation. They would all say yes, but all have different responsibilities. I can't turn my grandchildren away. I need them and they need me.
About religion being injected into yoga teacher training camps - what do you expect? Just another way to control people. You could join a witches coven, enlist in the next Jonestown, or find a cult where the spiritual leader doesn't know up from down. Once again, I need my grandchildren and they need me.
