You have a medical background, yoga training, and the insight to recognize a good teacher, when you see one. That's an advantage over 50% of the teachers in the field. Age means nothing, Paul's teacher taught into her early 90s. You're only half way there. <img src=" title="Laughing" /> Come to think of it, so am I. It sounds like you've been gathering information about teachers in your area for a while. I like to discard all of the erroneous information and techniques that I've seen. Just one of many examples would be the type of teacher who ignores her students for the entire class, while demonstrating cirque-de-soleil tricks.
