Nbuff - Lexington may not be that difficult of a place for teaching Yoga or having a Yoga practice. First, it is a college town that would likely have a more diverse population than other cities in the state. Although I am also originally from the west coast, I now live in a midwest college town and have a very active Yoga teaching program and practice. Many of my Yoga students are college students. Second, I went to the University of Kentucky campus webpage and did a quick search on "Yoga" and found a number of links to Yoga-related activities. It appears that the University Cooperative Extension even has Yoga class listings. So there may be more Yoga-related activities going on in Lexington then you might think! As a starting point for research, I would recommend doing a search on the University webage for links to other local webpages.
