Hi,

According to researchers, the most essential foods for health are alkaline-forming in order to have a slightly alkaline PH for the bloodstream and fight harmful invading bacteria with an unfavorable medium. These foods are mostly whole grains, vegetables and fruits.

However most Indian Yogins are lacto-vegetarians so to include a moderate quantity of acid-forming foods like milk and milk products for a better balanced diet while safeguarding ethical grounds of association between food purity and spiritual growth and opposing the cruelty of killing for food.

Blessings,

Sandy
