You see the changes Yoga has made in the lives of practitioners around you, but imagine them on a global scale. Now, let's consider your dreams, aspirations, and goals. Do you have a life purpose? Do you clearly know what your life goals are? Do you know what holds you back from pursuing your dreams?
Think back to a time of no responsibility, with a wide-eyed view of life and reality. When we were kids, how many of my friends said, "When I grow up, I'm going to become a Yoga teacher?" If memory serves me right, the answer is: "None."

As you continue being coached, you should censor your viewing of television, the Internet, books, and information. Why should you do this? Bad news sells lots of copy, but it is not good for the mind. We live at a time, when we know almost every bad news story on the planet. This has a toxic effect on us and our children.

Getting back to your competitors: Don't waste time on bad thoughts. You can easily co-exist in harmony with them, become friends, and learn from them. There is enough opportunity for everyone. This should be your mantra: Observe your competition, learn from their mistakes, and when possible, copy their success.
