Best Yoga Pranayama Techniques for Stress

During a Yoga teacher training intensive many pranayama techniques are addressed, but many teachers only teach what they like. One point to consider is our Yoga students need to understand the therapeutic applications of each pranayama technique.

Yoga Pranayama for Anxiety Attacks

While any sort of physical exercise can help with anxiety, Yoga training has the added benefit of specifically generating relaxation deep within the muscles while simultaneously toning them.

Teaching Yoga – Helping Others Cope with Stress

One method is to teach each student special coping skills for situations that occur during a typical day. Once students have learned to master pranayama, asana, meditation, and relaxation techniques, they can try to simulate stressful situations and apply what they have learned.
